1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the RHz Android application, the RHz website at rhz.logic-and-light.com, and related support communications operated by Logic & Light.
The app's session data and the website's operational data are different. RHz is designed to keep physiological and session data on your device, while the website may use third-party hosting and analytics services.
2. Data the app processes locally
The following information may be stored locally on your device:
- heart-rate variability and beat-to-beat interval data;
- session history, resonance results, and trends;
- pacing, feedback, and export preferences; and
- information needed to connect to supported Bluetooth heart-rate monitors.
No RHz account is required. RHz does not operate cloud sync for session data. Physiological and session data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
3. Bluetooth permissions
RHz requests Bluetooth permissions to scan for, connect to, and communicate with supported external monitors. Some Android versions may also present location-related Bluetooth permissions as part of BLE scanning. RHz does not use these permissions to build location profiles or sell location data.
4. Exported data
You can export session data in formats such as CSV or JSON. Export is initiated by you. Once a file is shared outside RHz through your device's native tools, it may be copied, stored, or processed by other apps, services, or people under their own privacy practices.
5. Website analytics and hosting
The website may process limited operational information, including:
- page views and basic device or browser information through Google Analytics;
- technical logs needed to operate and secure the website; and
- information you provide when contacting support.
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and supporting infrastructure providers. Website analytics are separate from the app's on-device physiological and session data.
6. How information is used
Limited website or support information may be used to operate the app and website, respond to support requests, understand aggregate website use, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Logic & Light does not sell biometric data or build advertising profiles from RHz session data.
7. Service providers and international processing
Limited website information may be processed by providers that support hosting, analytics, and email communications. Depending on where you access the website or contact support, processing may occur in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where those providers operate.
8. Retention and your choices
App session data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or export it. Website analytics and support records are retained only as reasonably necessary for operations, support, security, and legal compliance.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent for personal information controlled by Logic & Light outside the app's local storage model.
9. Children and policy changes
RHz is not directed to children. This policy may be updated to reflect legal, product, or operational changes. The current version will remain available on this page.
