This Privacy Policy applies to the RHz Android application, the RHz website at rhz.logic-and-light.com, and related support or update communications operated by Logic & Light.
RHz is designed to keep session and biometric data on your device. The website and email/update workflows are different: they may involve third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, and email delivery. This policy explains both parts clearly.
When you use the RHz app, the following information may be stored locally on your device:
We do not require an account to use the app, and we do not operate cloud sync for session data at this time. Your physiological data is intended to stay on your device unless you choose to export it.
The Android app requests Bluetooth permissions so it can scan for, connect to, and communicate with supported external heart rate monitors. On some Android versions, location-related Bluetooth permissions may also be required by the operating system for BLE scanning.
RHz does not use those permissions to build location profiles or sell location data. They are used to enable sensor discovery and device communication.
RHz lets you export session data in formats such as CSV or JSON. Export is started by you. Once an exported file is shared outside the app through your device's native sharing tools, it may be copied, stored, or processed by other apps, services, or people you choose to share it with.
In other words, the app's local-only privacy model applies inside RHz. It may no longer apply once you export data to other tools.

As of today, website analytics are handled through Google Analytics. Email/update workflows may be handled through Resend. The website itself is hosted through Vercel.
We use information only for limited purposes such as:
We do not sell your biometric data. We do not run ad-tech profiles on your session data.
We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the website and communications stack, such as hosting, analytics, and email delivery providers. We may also disclose information if required by law or if reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not share your app session data with cloud analytics or ad networks as part of the core RHz app experience described above.
RHz is available internationally. Depending on where you access the website or email communications, information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights, those rights may apply to the information that we control for website, support, or communications purposes.
App session data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or export/share it yourself. Website analytics and communication records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for analytics, support, compliance, and recordkeeping, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent for certain personal information that we control outside the app's local storage model.
You can also control many privacy choices directly by not signing up for updates, disabling analytics in your browser where available, deleting exported files, or uninstalling the app.
RHz is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through the website or communications channels, contact us and we will review the request.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, product, or operational changes. The current version will always be posted on this page.
